Idk if this is a common story but I felt like I had to share it. I went to the Ramones museum today with my dad for Father’s Day because they were having a panel about the art and photography of the Ramones. Roberta Bayley was there and she was talking about this photoshoot and mentioned the one that was the album cover and how this picture of them smiling was taken before that. She said after this picture they kind of became more serious and would pose without smiling. Then she said at one point the seriousness was broken when Dee Dee stepped in dog poop and used a stick to get the poop off his shoe and then he started waving it around trying to get the other band members so there is one picture (I couldn’t find the picture) where the rest of them ran out of the frame and in her words ‘Dee Dee was standing there maniacally waving his shit stick’.
